Woman sentenced after admitting child neglect offences

A woman has been sentenced after admitting a series of offences involving the neglect and ill-treatment of a child.

Tiffany Smith, formerly of Bridlington and Hull, pleaded guilty to charges including assault, ill-treatment, neglect and abandonment of a child, causing unnecessary suffering. The case was heard at Hull Magistrates’ Court, where details of the incidents were outlined.
