A Norfolk paedophile who was sentenced to a total of ten years in 2019 has been RELEASED and is back living with his wife just 150 feet from a primary school.
William John Harvey, of Bates green, Norwich repeatedly sexually abused and raped one of the girls and abused the other, but the charge of rape was not pursued as the prosecution could not guarantee a conviction, and the victims felt that what he had pleaded guilty to would bring some closure for them.
The abuse took place over a seven year period during the years 1977-1984 when the girls were aged between seven and 15 years old
In a bid to silence one of the girls, Harvey told her if she spoke out he would hurt them and that no one would believe them anyway
A third victim did not give evidence against him, due to personal reasons.
Harvey was sentenced to a total of 10 years imprisonment of which seven years are to be served in prison and the remaining three years on extended licence
He was also told that he must register as a sex offender for life
Our source told us that she was shocked that a dangerous paedophile like Harvey has been allowed to live in such a close proximity to a primary school.
The source said that Harvey’s wife regularly visited him in prison and welcomed him home with open arms.
Their property overlooks several gardens close by where children play and the parents do not know the true extent of his crimes as he was never named in the press.
