Thomas James Goodall was reported on the 10th of May 2025 due to domestic violence.
Bail conditions were given to which Thomas repeatedly breached and did not comply with.
During the first trail on the 19th of February 2026, Thomas pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him but was later found guilty.
Sentencing was then scheduled for the 13th of March 2026.
Today Thomas was sentenced to 120 hour community service, £900 in court fines, 12 month community order to complete 10 rehabilitation courses.
Restraining order granted to protect the victim.
The magistrates repeated that Thomas showed no remorse and took no accountability for his actions even after being found guilty. Therefore they did not give Thomas any leniency during sentencing even though his solicitor asked for a higher fine instead of completing community service.
This is Thomas’ first conviction however this is not the first occurrence of domestic violence, this can be found via Claire’s Law.
