A depraved pervert that was sentenced to 10 years in 2017 after repeatedly raping a 13-year-old girl has been RELEASED

In 2017, Shane Gibbins, (then aged 30), who is the son of a convicted sex beast who “had an extensive history of sexual offending against children,” was jailed after being labelled ‘dangerous’ by a judge

Gibbins, – a father-of-three from Bristol – followed in his sick father’s footsteps by committing a string of sex offences against a girl who was as young as 13.

The girl was targeted, groomed, repeatedly raped and suffered “serious psychological harm”, at the hands of Gibbins, who refused to take no for an answer

The victim was aged 13 and he was aged 27 at the time of the offences.

Gibbins was jailed for a decade, with a four-year extended licence period, at Bristol Crown Court.

He pleaded guilty to forcing oral sex on the child and molesting her private parts

He also admitted five occasions when he raped her, one of which involved him forcing her to give him oral sex.

Gibbins was finally stopped when his victim bravely went to the police and they recovered condoms containing Gibbins’ DNA .

When the “devastating” offences came to light and he was arrested and remanded, the pervert told a cell mate in Bristol Prison: “I did it, but I think I can get away with it.”

Gibbins’ partner then messaged him, saying: “I will run away with you if you’ve done the things alleged.”

Gibbins then phoned her back, asking: “Can we run?”, admitting that he had done it once but it was a mistake.

Gibbins was told to abide by a stringent, indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order, banning him from contact with children aged under 16 and prohibiting him from loitering within 50 metres of school grounds.

He was also prevented from unchecked internet use or online forums without first notifying police.
