A 38-year-old man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after carrying out a serious sexual offence against a 14-year-old girl in Glasgow.
Scott Ijomanta committed the attack in August 2024 at a flat in Maryhill, where he had taken the teenager hostage during the incident. The court heard that he was on bail at the time for previous allegations involving the grooming of two other young people, whom he had encouraged to travel to his home.
Following proceedings, Ijomanta was convicted and jailed for a decade for his crimes.
