A repeat offending paedophile that was told by judge that it has “no or little realistic prospect of rehabilitation” has been released from prison

Scarlett Lee, of Bridgend— previously known as Scott Henwood — was previously caught with child sexual abuse images for a second time.

When confronted, Lee reportedly admitted to staff, “There’s probably stuff I shouldn’t have on my laptop.” Police subsequently seized several devices, including a PC tower where the illegal images were stored.

Lee had been made subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) in February 2023 after being convicted of possessing prohibited images of children.

Despite this, she breached the order again by using her new name, Scarlett Lee, to access a YouTube account—failing to notify authorities of her name change by deed poll as required.

Lee has four convictions for breaching SHPOs and was already serving a suspended prison sentence at the time of the last offence

However, the presiding judge noted there was “no or little realistic prospect of rehabilitation” and imposed an immediate custodial sentence of 2 years and four months of which it served half in prison.

Now back living in Bridgend
