A man from Stoke-on-Trent has been made subject to a restraining order following a court case involving harassment and criminal damage offences.
Court documents state that Ryan Mark Tomkinson, 34, appeared before Newcastle-under-Lyme Magistrates’ Court on 19 June 2024, where he was found guilty of harassment without violence and criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
The court imposed a community order requiring attendance for alcohol treatment and rehabilitation activity, with monitoring by probation services. A restraining order was also granted to protect the victim from further conduct causing harassment or fear of violence.
Additional details shared claim there is ongoing history of stalking, harassment and abusive behaviour. He has repeated breaches of boundaries and continued unwanted contact despite court orders being in place.
