Robert Jamieson – Rotherham

A paedophile clown who was sentenced to 14 years in 2019 is now in a Cat D ‘open prison’ and is enjoying unescorted temporary leave with overnight stays away from the prison.

In 2019, Robert Jamieson, known as clown Bobby Bubbles, of Hull was jailed after a jury found him guilty of ten sex offences against a girl aged under 13.

The offences included four of indecency with a child aged under 13 and two of sexual intercourse with a girl under 13.

He had been in a relationship with the 12 year old victims older sister and moved into the family home in Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Jamieson preyed on the vulnerable victim, convincing her that they were in an intimate relationship before carrying out a myriad of sexual offences – including taking her virginity.

Jamieson was a professional clown who performed at childrens parties and schools across East Yorkshire

Jamieson is a predatory paedophile and remains a high risk to young girls. He has currently served seven years in prison and will likely be released fully next year.
