MAN JAILED FOR CONTROLLING AND COERCIVE ABUSE
Martin Plaice, 50, has been jailed for two years and four months after admitting controlling and coercive behaviour towards his former partner.
Peterborough Crown Court heard that Mr Plaice repeatedly contacted and visited the victim despite bail conditions, sent threatening messages and posted hostile material online. On 31 December 2025 he left an envelope containing two blank ammunition rounds on the doorstep of the victim and her new partner.
Mr Plaice, from Upwell near Wisbech, was sentenced on 2 July 2026.
