Liam Gunn – Lowestoft

Liam Gunn, 28-years-old, of Briarwood Road, Lowestoft

Strongly advised to carry out a Sarah’s Law and/or Clare’s Law disclosure before entering into any relationship with Liam Gunn.

Court and social services records show that he is a serious safeguarding risk. These records report that he:

• Fractured a 2.5-month-old baby’s arm, causing grievous bodily harm

• Caused multiple broken ribs by forceful compression of the chest

• Caused facial injuries including bruising and swelling to the mouth and face

These injuries were found to be non-accidental. Liam was convicted of Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm under the Offences Against the Person Act. He received a 20-month suspended sentence, was ordered to complete rehabilitation work and remains under probation supervision.

The court concluded that any child in his care would be at significant risk of physical harm.
