A sex predator who abducted a teenage girl as she walked home before forcing her to perform a sex act and recording the horrific attack has been found guilty.

Jay Savage, 33, of Marsh Lane, Boston, was convicted at Lincoln Crown Court today, Monday 21 September, following a six-day trial.

The jury found him guilty of abducting and orally raping the teenager, as well as taking an indecent photograph of a child.

The court heard that the girl was walking through Boston town centre at around 9.15pm on 16 March 2025 when she became aware that somebody was following her.

Savage pursued the teenager before catching up and starting a conversation. He then demanded her phone, claiming there was something he needed to access on it.

When he discovered its battery had died, he insisted on taking her to “his place” to charge it.

During the terrifying encounter, the girl felt something sharp pressed against her waist and feared Savage was carrying a knife.

He marched his young victim around the town against her will, taking her towards the church, the former B&M store and The Range, where he gave her a can of beer.

Despite the fear she was experiencing, the quick-thinking teenager carefully memorised the route—information that would later prove crucial in bringing her attacker to justice.

Savage took her inside a property, where he forced her to perform oral sex and filmed the sickening assault on his mobile phone.

He eventually walked the girl back towards the area where he had first approached her—but kept her phone at his home.

Police were alerted shortly after midnight on 17 March. Using the detailed account provided by the courageous teenager and digital tracking work to locate her phone, officers rapidly identified Savage.

He was arrested at 1.45am at a property on Marsh Lane—just hours after the horrifying attack was reported.

Savage has been remanded in custody and will return to court for sentencing on 27 November.
