CASTLE ACRE PAEDOPHILE DARREN MOORE SENT A BARRAGE OF SEXUAL PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO TEENAGE GIRL

A paedophile who sent a barrage of explicit pictures and videos to a teenage girl may face jail.

During three days, Darren Moore, 37, sent the young girl, who was a family friend, pictures of his penis, as well as videos of a woman giving oral sex to him and of the woman sexually touching herself.

Moore, of West Acre Road in Castle Acre, admitted engaging in sexual communication with a child between August 6 and 9 last year.

Police were made aware of the distressing incident when the victim’s mother contacted them after her daughter said she was getting some “weird” messages from Moore on the social media platform Snapchat.

The girl had received the sexual images and videos, which were captioned with references to masturbation.

Another image was sent to the young girl, which showed a woman on her knees performing a sexual act.

Moore, who had no previous convictions, was accompanied by his wife in court.

An all-options pre-sentence report will be carried out on him before he learns his fate, meaning he could go to prison.

Moore is due to return to the court on July 8 and was released on conditional bail, with orders not to contact the victim or go to her address.

He must also notify the police of his address and must not inadvertently come into contact with anyone under the age of 18.
