A depraved paedophile that created an online chat group so he could share sickening child rape videos and fantasies told police that he had a high libido and would masturbate at least 15 times a day.

Michael Fox, 55, used the names “Foxy” and “Wolf” as he distributed videos depicting the rape of girls aged between just eight and 11, Swansea Crown Court heard.

The shocking material was classified as Category A — the most serious category of child sexual abuse material.

Fox admitted in one vile conversation that he only wanted the very worse movies of abuse where primary school aged girls were being abused, sexually tortured and raped.

Prosecutor Craig Jones told the court that Fox also used the group to make disturbing sexual comments about children he knew, including remarks about their bodies.

He was caught hiding behind a sinister online persona after an undercover police officer infiltrated the warped ‘Telegram’ group

Fox’s secret online world came crashing down when police moved in to arrest him.

As officers arrived, the court heard he admitted: “I’ve been an idiot – I’ve f*** everything up!”** and later confessed to masturbating at least 15 times a day.

Fox, of Chestnut Mill, Capel Dewi, near Llandysul, pleaded guilty to distributing Category A videos and Category B images.

He was jailed for two years and four months.

Fox was also handed a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and will remain on the sex offenders’ register until 2036.

A victim surcharge will also be payable following his release from prison.
