A paedophile has been sentenced to 25 years after carry out a campaign of rape and sexual offences against several young victims

Aaron Starmer (36) of Stapenhill/Winshill, Burton on Trent was sentenced on Thursday, March 26th, 2026, at Stafford Crown Court after pleading guilty to multiple child sexual offences, including rape and attempted rape.

The judge told Starmer who worked at Briggs of Burton, that he classed him as a dangerous sex predator who showed no remorse for his despicable sexual offending against vulnerable victims.

Starmer was sentenced to a Extended Determinate Sentence of 19 years in prison with the remaining six years to be served on licence with full supervision

A minimum of 12 years and eight months (two-thirds) must be served in prison before he is eligible to apply for parole.

The judge stated that his release at the 2/3rds stage was not automatic or guaranteed and the Parole Board will undertake a risk assessment before any potential release

Starmer is subject to a lifelong Restraining Orders, an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO), and indefinite registration on the Sex Offenders Register
