Daniel Rowbotham, from Hartlepool, has previously been subject to domestic abuse-related police action, including the issuing of a Domestic Violence Protection Order (DVPO).
Concerns have also been raised regarding past incidents involving alleged strangulation and property damage. Safeguarding services have reportedly been involved in matters connected to children.
Members of the public are reminded that Clare’s Law (the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme) allows individuals to request information from police about a partner’s history of violence or abuse where it may pose a risk.
Anyone with concerns about their safety is encouraged to contact their local police force or apply under Clare’s Law for further information.
