A pervert caused a number of young girls to make attempts on their own lives after he forced them to perform degrading sexual acts on camera with threats.

He even forced one girl to engage in sexual activity with a dog, otherwise he would post images of her online.

Kyle Fisher, 19, targeted 20 young girls aged between 10 and 15 online and coerced them into sending images of themselves before threatening to publish the images on the internet or send them to friends and family.

He then demanded they send videos of themselves performing graphic sexual acts, beginning a countdown if they did not immediately comply.

A sentencing hearing at Cardiff Crown Court on Thursday heard the defendant, aged 15 and 16 at the time of the offences, also told some of his victims he would kill himself if they did not send him images, and sent them pictures of other people which he claimed were of him.

Heartrending statements from the victims and their parents spoke of the horrific effect Fisher’s sexual abuse had upon them, with some resorting to self harming on attempting to commit suicide.

In her sentencing remarks, the Recorder of Cardiff, Judge Tracey Lloyd-Clarke said: “Once you had their phone numbers you threatened or pressured them into sending naked images of themselves. You threatened to hack them or post images online for others to see.

“You threatened to harm yourself or to commit suicide to get the victims to do what you wanted. You told victims what you wanted them to do in images and videos. You recorded and kept the images and videos and if they asked for photographs of yourself you used images taken from the internet.”

The victims were based across Wales, England and Scotland, and were first contacted by Fisher on social media apps or dating websites.

Fisher gave a false name on most occasions, claiming he was 14 years old, and concealed his identity with a mask and a Wales football bucket, which were later discovered at his home in Tonyrefail.

Prosecutor Josh Scouller outlined the offences committed against each victim.

The first was 15-years-old when Fisher contacted her and asked for photos, which she initially declined. He threatened to hack her and post about her online, and she discovered she had been logged out of her social media accounts.

She agreed to do what he asked and sent graphic sexual images. The defendant also asked for images of her younger sister, but she refused.

The second victim was 13-years-old and was asked by Fisher for pictures of herself. He also asked her if she had a dog.

After sending naked images of herself, the defendant threatened to post the images on Facebook. She then sent a video of her touching herself, but Fisher insisted she allowed her dog to perform a sexual act on her.

She refused but the defendant repeated his threat and initiated a countdown until she complied.

She was in clear distress in the video, and Fisher prolonged the ordeal for hours. The victim told him she felt like “killing herself” but he persisted with the messages.

When she asked for an image of him, he sent a fake one and when she said she would post it online, he said he “didn’t care”.

The other victims were targeted in a similar way and threats made to post images of them online, or harm himself, if they did not comply with his sick demands

Fisher was arrested in February, 2024, and again in 2025. His phone was seized and analysed which resulted in the discovery of the images and videos of the victims.

The defendant was found in possession of a total of 376 indecent images of children, including 121 category A images, 92 category B images and 163 category C images, he shared and distributed indecent images of two of the victims and was in possession of 22 extreme images.

Fisher, of Heol Islwyn, later pleaded guilty to 21 counts of causing/inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, nine counts of causing/inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, three counts of making indecent images, three counts of distributing indecent images and possessing extreme images.

The court heard he was of previous good character.

Reading a victim personal statement to the court, a mother of one of the victims described the impact on her daughter and her family.

She said: “I never thought I would be in this position, sitting here today with my heart truly broken. My family life has been torn apart by this horrendous crime. When I became a mum I vowed I would protect my children at all costs.”

The victim’s mother said her daughter had gone from a “fun loving, carefree soul” to becoming “distant, hiding in her bedroom and not wanting to join in”. She said her daughter had angry outbursts and was unable to control her emotions.

She added: “Despite everything I am incredibly proud of my daughter who continues to show kindness and care for others.”

One of the victims said she was afraid of bumping into the defendant in the street, not knowing where he was from. She turned to self harming and tried to take her own life two weeks after the incident. She said she felt “worthless and disgusting”.

Another mother said the offence had a “devastating effect upon her daughter” after images were sent to her friends. As a result she was forced to move school on several occasions and was no longer able to attend mainstream school. She said her daughter had self-harmed and told her she “didn’t want to be alive anymore”.

Another said her daughter self-harmed and suffered panic attacks. She said her daughter had made an attempt on her life as a result of the offences, and suffered from feelings of “shame and guilt”.

A father said he found out there were indecent videos of his daughter after they were sent to him. He said he, “couldn’t believe what he was seeing” and his daughter was left “distraught” after the video had “gone viral”.

In mitigation, Marian Lewis said her client committed the offences when he was a “young boy” and described him as “vulnerable” due to him having learning difficulties and a traumatic family background which included domestic violence.

The barrister said the defendant had been diagnosed with ADHD and had difficulty understanding “appropriate social behaviour”.

Concluding her sentencing remarks, Judge Lloyd-Clarke said: “Your victims suffered serious emotional and psychological harm and their parents have also suffered greatly… It’s important to state the responsibility and blame lies with you and you alone.”

Fisher was sentenced to 10 years detention in a young offenders’ institute, with an extended licence period of four years.

The defendant was also made subject to a sex offender notification requirement and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order indefinitely.
