JASON PEDEN – LEICESTER

Jason Peden has been sentenced to 18 months in prison after appearing before the court on 9 December.

The court heard that there had also been a previous allegation of intentional strangulation involving the same woman in 2023, as well as a separate matter of criminal damage. These additional matters were denied and left on file.

As part of the sentence, a four-year restraining order has been imposed, banning him from making any contact with the woman involved.

This case highlights the serious risks that can exist in intimate relationships and the importance of recognising warning signs early.
