  • Distribution of indecent images of children
  • Possession of extreme pornography
  • Possession of prohibited images of children

🗓️ Sentenced: 2025 (Offences occurred in 2022)

📝 Summary:

Zack Spencer, now 23, of Carmarthen Road, Llandeilo, was convicted for his involvement in a network sharing child sexual abuse material through the Kik messaging app. He was found with a total of 77 illegal images and videos, including Category A content depicting the rape of young boys.

During a police investigation in March 2022, Spencer admitted to officers that he was “highly sexed” and had participated in group chats where illegal images were shared. On his phone, authorities found:

  • 11 Category A images and videos (the most serious)
  • Extreme pornographic content
  • Conversations with other users, including distribution of Category A content

Though Spencer initially denied having any sexual interest in children, evidence showed he distributed illegal images and was an active part of online paedophile groups.

During sentencing at Swansea Crown Court, Judge Catherine Richards noted that viewing and sharing such material perpetuates the real abuse of children. While acknowledging Spencer’s shame and emotional state, she warned that the offence is extremely serious.

📌 Sentence:

  • 20-month prison sentence – suspended for two years
  • 10 years on the Sex Offenders Register
  • 5-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO)

Despite the severity of the crimes, the judge opted for a suspended sentence based on a pre-sentence report and the defendant’s age at the time of the offences.

🚨 Warning:

Zack Spencer poses a clear and ongoing risk to children, based on his prior involvement in child sexual abuse networks. He is legally restricted from certain behaviours under his SHPO, but caution should be exercised by the public.
