Wesley Wooldridge, relating to a series of offences committed between August and October 2024. The charges included two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentional strangulation, multiple incidents of criminal damage, and controlling or coercive behaviour within an intimate relationship.

The case was heard at Chelmsford Crown Court on 24 April 2025, where the court confirmed the following sentences:
• Count 4 – Intentional strangulation: 40 months
• Count 7 – Controlling or coercive behaviour: 25 months (served concurrently)
• Count 1 – ABH (12 August 2024): 12 months (concurrent)
• Count 3 – ABH (10 October 2024): 13 months (concurrent)
• Count 5 – Criminal damage (“crocs”): 22 days (concurrent)
• Criminal damage – blinds: 22 days (concurrent)

This resulted in a total sentence of 40 months’ imprisonment.
A restraining order has also been imposed.
