Concerns Raised Over Individual With History of Violence and Substance Misuse – Clare’s Law Advised
An individual has been linked to a long-term pattern of domestic abuse, violence, and coercive behaviour, with a history of criminal activity dating back to 2008.
Reports indicate that the person has a severe addiction to cocaine and is known to exploit women for drugs, money, and accommodation. Their criminal record includes offences for theft, drink driving, criminal damage, and grievous bodily harm (GBH), for which they have previously served a custodial sentence.
It is also understood that a court order is currently in place preventing contact with their children, along with a Non-Molestation Order protecting both the children and the ex-partner. In addition, the individual is reported to have stolen over £1,000 from a former partner, which is believed to form part of a prior Clare’s Law disclosure.
Serious safeguarding concerns have also been raised regarding a relationship with a 17-year-old, during which the individual was allegedly supplying cocaine.
Further accounts describe a consistent pattern of mental, emotional, and physical abuse, including acts of coercive control and intimidation. Victims have reported incidents involving physical violence, confinement, and severe injury, consistent with a sustained pattern of domestic abuse.
Given this extensive history, it is strongly recommended that anyone considering a relationship with this person submit a Clare’s Law (Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme) request to obtain relevant information that could help prevent further harm.
