Thomas Purviss – Wakefield

A man from Wakefield has been jailed after posting sexual and intimate photos onto social media which he took of two sexual encounters without the consent of the other people.

Thomas Purviss has now been jailed for 18 months and put on the sex offender register for 10 years after he posted footage he took of a sexual encounter with two females.

Purviss loaded the camera footage onto Snapchat with a tagline of “free porn”, much to the horror of the victims.

The prosecution raised serious concerns about privacy violations and non-consensual sharing of the private images.

The 33-year-old appeared at Leeds Crown Court where he admitted two counts of sharing intimate films for sexual gratification.
