❌STEVEN JACKSON – LOWESTOFT❌
Lowestoft Man Linked to History of Violence – Clare’s Law Check Strongly Advised
A man from Lowestoft has been linked to a history of violent and abusive behaviour, prompting advice for anyone considering a relationship with him to make a Clare’s Law application under the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme.
Steven Jackson, 58, of Lowestoft, has been the subject of multiple allegations of assault and harassment. Reports include evidence of injuries said to have been caused during a recent relationship, along with confirmation of a Non-Molestation Order that was issued against him earlier this month.
Although Jackson was arrested during the course of that relationship, the victim did not pursue a formal complaint at the time, reportedly due to fear of retaliation — a common concern among victims of domestic abuse.
It is understood that incidents of this nature would be reflected in any Clare’s Law disclosure, which allows police to share information about an individual’s history of violence or abuse if it helps to protect someone at risk.
Jackson is also known to have a lengthy criminal history, including previous offences involving violence.
Members of the public are urged to seek advice or make a Clare’s Law request if they have any concerns about entering a relationship with him.
