A Norwich man has admitted sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl after being caught on CCTV kissing and fondling her.
Peter Stone, 42, was reported to police by the parents of the vulnerable teen, who suffers from a range of issues including autism, after his actions came to light on November 12.
Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told footage had come to light of him repeatedly kissing and touching the youngster.
Josephine Jones, prosecuting, said he later sent a series of text messages apologising for his behaviour.
Stone, of Rushmore Close in Sprowston, pleaded guilty to sexual activity with a child.
He will be sentenced on February 17.
Magistrates warned imprisonment or his case being committed to the crown court for greater punishment had not been ruled out.
Annette Hall, defending, said: “He has pleaded guilty at the first opportunity and taken responsibility for his actions.
“As a result of that, this young girl does not have to go through the ordeal of a trial.”
The court heard he had previously been jailed in 2021 for breaches of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) imposed following a conviction for possession of indecent images of children.
