A Telford man has appeared in court on a number of occasions in recent years in connection with assault and criminal damage offences.

Owen Lewis, was previously charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and threatening to damage or destroy property in relation to an incident in Telford.

In a separate and more recent case reported by the Shropshire Star on February 19, 2025, Lewis was ordered to pay hundreds of pounds in compensation after damaging a woman’s mobile phone. The court heard he had destroyed the device, and magistrates imposed a financial penalty requiring him to compensate the victim.
