❌ MCCAULAY PARKER – HULL / SKIPTON ❌
Man Found Guilty of Sexually Assaulting Two Women in Separate Police Force Areas
A Hull man has been found guilty of sexually assaulting two women after targeting them in their own homes in Hull and Skipton, following a joint investigation by Humberside Police and North Yorkshire Police.
McCaulay Parker, 28, of Thanet Road, Hull, appeared at Grimsby Crown Court on 15 December 2025, where a jury convicted him of two counts of sexual assault after a four-day trial.
Posed as Tradesman to Gain Access
The first incident occurred in July 2024, when a woman in Hull reported that a man—later identified as Parker—approached her home claiming to be a tradesman. Although she declined his offer of work, Parker returned the following week, checked whether she was alone, and entered the property without invitation.
Once inside, he made inappropriate comments, attempted physical contact, and went on to sexually assault her.
Investigating officers examined CCTV, which showed Parker approaching the home and gaining entry despite having no permission to do so. He was arrested soon afterward but denied the allegations and was bailed pending further enquiries.
Second Assault in Skipton
In March 2025, North Yorkshire Police received a report from a woman who said a man posing as a door-to-door salesman had entered her home and sexually assaulted her. Officers quickly attended, located a suspect matching the description nearby, and arrested Parker.
During initial checks, investigators linked him to the earlier Hull case. Both incidents were later joined in a single prosecution.
Same Method in Both Attacks
Police said Parker displayed a clear pattern of behaviour, deliberately targeting lone women and finding ways to access their homes under false pretences.
PC Jessica Holland, who led the Humberside Police investigation, described Parker’s actions as “extremely intrusive and predatory”, adding that he purposely tested whether women were alone before entering their homes. She also condemned his refusal to admit his actions, forcing both women to endure the ordeal of a trial.
North Yorkshire Police investigator DC Amy Sharrad said Parker had deliberately violated victims’ personal safety in their own homes, describing the case as “particularly distressing” due to the calculated nature of his approach.
Sentencing to Take Place in February 2026
Parker has been remanded in custody and is due to return to Grimsby Crown Court on 13 February 2026 for sentencing.
Both police forces praised the courage of the women who came forward and encouraged anyone affected by similar crimes to contact police via 101, attend a local station, or dial 999 in an emergency.
