Joshua Evans has a long-standing history of domestic abuse and controlling behaviour toward multiple partners. He has been involved in numerous police and court proceedings since 2018, primarily relating to domestic violence and related offences.

He was released from custody on 24 September 2025 following a period of remand. However, within just five days of his release, he was arrested again in connection with a further domestic-related incident.

Following that arrest, he was recalled to prison within six weeks due to ongoing concerns about his behaviour and risk to others.

Police and probation records identify him as a prolific domestic-violence perpetrator, displaying a pattern of abusive, coercive, and manipulative behaviour in relationships. His actions have caused significant emotional and psychological harm to previous partners.

He is also noted to demonstrate persistent dishonesty, with a reputation for being deceptive and untruthful in both personal relationships and official dealings.
