❌JORDAN BANNISTER – CHESTERFIELD❌
Cocaine & Booze-Fuelled Thug Imprisoned Terrified Partner in His Flat – Jailed for 2½ Years
A Derbyshire man, Jordan Bannister, has been jailed for two and a half years after imprisoning and terrorising his partner inside his flat during a violent episode fuelled by cocaine and heavy drinking.
According to court reports, Bannister’s behaviour escalated into intimidation, threats and control, preventing the woman from leaving and subjecting her to fear-driven coercion. During the ordeal, Bannister is reported to have warned her:
“Don’t leave me or I will flatten you.”
The court heard that the victim believed she may not survive the situation, and that the level of psychological harm caused was severe.
Bannister pleaded guilty to:
• False imprisonment
• Domestic assault
• Threatening and abusive behaviour
Following sentencing at court, Bannister received:
• 2 years 6 months (30 months) imprisonment
• A restraining order, banning all direct or indirect contact with the victim
• A warning that any breach will result in immediate return to custody
