📝 Case Summary:

John Carter, also known as Jonathan McMullen, is known to have subjected women to serious physical and emotional abuse. He has a disturbing record of violent outbursts and controlling behaviour across multiple relationships.

In 2016, McMullen was jailed for a brutal attack on an innocent woman at a pizza shop in Middlesbrough. The victim, Kelly Jordan, was waiting for food after a night out when McMullen — described as aggressive and “looking for trouble” — began provoking fights inside Gigi’s takeaway around 1:15 AM.

When Ms. Jordan tried to calm the situation, McMullen violently headbutted her in the face, knocking her unconscious. The unprovoked assault left her with a broken nose, cheekbone, and eye socket.

According to the prosecution, McMullen encouraged his female friend to attack the victim’s friend and shouted: “Sort her out and finish her off.” He was sentenced to three years in prison at Teesside Crown Court for this horrific assault.

He continues to pose a risk to women and is known to engage in manipulation, emotional abuse, and violent behaviour towards romantic partners.
