Jamie Warner – Anglesey
Anglesey Man Jailed for Assaulting Family Members and Causing Serious Injury
Date of Incident: Before Christmas 2016
Reported: 30th January 2017
Location: Maes Goronwy, Benllech
Jamie Warner, then 26, was jailed in 2017 after a drunken and violent attack on his own family that left one of his relatives with life-changing injuries.
Just before Christmas, Warner assaulted his older brother Scott, breaking his jaw. Shortly after, the situation escalated when Warner was involved in a car crash, which resulted in Scott losing three fingers on his left hand.
In the same period, Warner also assaulted his own mother, showing a disturbing pattern of violent and dangerous behaviour within the household.
The presiding judge at the time condemned Warner’s actions, describing him as “extremely violent and dangerous.” Warner was handed another custodial sentence for his role in the attacks and the harm caused to his family.
