James McGuire appeared in Court on 16 February 2021, where he was charged with a serious criminal offence.
The Court granted bail subject to strict conditions, including that the accused must:
• Not communicate, or attempt to communicate, directly or indirectly, with the protected person(s);
• Not have unsupervised contact with any female under the age of 16, unless supervised by an adult over the age of 21 who is aware of the bail conditions and understands they are acting as the supervisor;
• Ensure that no child under the age of 16 resides at the address where the accused is living while on bail.
