In June 2008, Knights was convicted of offences involving making, possessing and distributing indecent images of children. He received an Imprisonment for Public Protection (IPP) sentence.

We have not been able to locate news articles covering the original court case. However, a publicly available Parole Board judgment confirms these convictions.
