A Watford man has been sentenced to nine years in prison after being found guilty of violently robbing two schoolgirls FOUR years after the attack to place

Jack Biggs, 24, formerly of Farriers Way, was convicted following a trial in October 2025 and sentenced last week at St Albans Crown Court on 19th December.

The court heard how Biggs approached the two victims, aged 13 and 16 at the time, outside Tesco Extra on Lower High Street in Watford on 3rd September 2021.

Biggs assaulted both girls, punching one full in the face and pulling hair out of the head of the other girl, before stealing their mobile phones.

The victims had to wait a very long time for Biggs to be sentenced due to multiple delays in the court process

Biggs is now serving his nine-year sentence.
