Businesswoman had to install CCTV around her home and carry personal panic alarm after husband’s widowed ex stalked her

She paid £1,200 for three security cameras around her suburban property and altered her socialising habits after nurse Daniele Juhl hounded her.

Juhl harassed her with phone calls and then turned up drunk in her car and attacked the 48-year-old.

Juhl, 46 – who had been drinking white wine – hammered on the front door of Mrs Roberts’ £300,000 house in Warrington, Cheshire, then snapped the windscreen wiper on a Cupra Formenta SUV belonging to husband Anthony.

When told to go away, Juhl shouted at the couple: ‘I will kill you. Call the police all you want. You are dead next time I see you.’ During the incident Mrs Roberts was punched on the wrist causing swelling and bruising.

Police later quizzed Juhl, who had three children with Mr Roberts before they split up eight years ago.

She said her own husband had passed away and she had been trying to talk to Mr Roberts about what she claimed were false stories he had given about their break up.
