France lured victims to his home after nights out, often promising “afterparties.” Once there, he plied young women with alcohol before sexually assaulting and raping them — all while secretly filming and photographing his crimes. Over 6,000 disturbing images and videos were recovered.
Footage was hidden in a secure app on his phone. France built a “catalogue” of abuse which he kept for his own gratification. Victims had no idea they had been filmed until police showed them.
One detective said France’s house had hidden cameras and urged more potential victims to come forward, believing there could be many more.
