A woman struck her victim over the head with a Buckfast bottle and then told police:
“Can’t wait to kill him, to be honest.”
Drunken Courtney Elder hit the man with the glass bottle while he was brawling in the street with another male, Perth Sheriff Court heard.
Elder, 26, pled guilty to assaulting the man to his injury in Maxton Road, Crieff, on July 26 2025.
In court, she was told she was lucky not to have caused serious injury, or worse, to her victim.

At her sentencing hearing, Elder, of Murrayfield Loan, Crieff, nearly talked her way into prison when she twice declined to accept a structured deferred sentence because she could not face getting the bus to Perth for meetings.
Fiscal depute Sam Craib, prosecuting, said the complainer and another man were at a property in Maxton Road at around 10.30pm when they heard a commotion outside.
“They became aware it was the accused in the street.
“There was a perceived ongoing feud between the accused and the complainer’s mother.”
