A MILFORD Haven man accused of assaulting a woman on multiple occasions and coercive control.

Bradley Davies, 28, of Pill Road, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court charged with four offences against the same woman.

Davies was accused of strangling the woman in Neyland on June 8.

He was also charged with two offences of assault by beating – relating to alleged incidents in Neyland on November 27 and in Milford Haven on December 14.

Davies was further accused of engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour between May 3 and December 16 – after he was alleged to have using violence and making threats of violence against the woman.

The defendant pleaded guilty to the December 14 assault at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on December 17, and will appear at Swansea Crown Court to enter his pleas on the remaining charges on January 17.

Davies was granted bail until that date.
