Benjamin Roach – Formerly of Plymouth & Essex is now living in Bridgemary, Gosport in Hampshire.

In 2013, Benjamin Roach was sentenced to just seven years after he inflicted injuries that were similar to what might be seen as a result of a road crash on his own four-week-old daughter

Doctors told the trial injuries suffered by Roxie could not have been caused accidently.

Jurors heard Roach, (then living in Plymouth), may have viciously shaken the baby before throwing her down hard. Doctors said the baby would have sustained life-long injuries including being left blind and brain damaged if she had survived.

The little girl suffered retinal haemorrhaging and bleeding within her skull and brain.

After the attack, Roxie’s life support machine was switched off the following day – less than a month after she was born

Roach has never shown any remorse for his actions, and only cares about his self preservation. He lies to all those he comes into contact with and tells people that he was in prison for fighting with men.
