Man Wanted After Breaching Bail Conditions Following Sexual Offence Convictions

A man previously convicted of multiple sexual offences is currently wanted by authorities after breaching bail and licence conditions.

Paul Anthony Gloster, also known locally as “Bubble”, is understood to be in the Birmingham area after failing to comply with post-release restrictions.

Gloster appeared in court facing nine charges, of which seven resulted in convictions. Some complainants did not continue through the court process, reportedly due to pressure or fear surrounding giving evidence.

His convictions included offences relating to grooming and sexual offences involving a child under the age of 13, as well as further counts relating to another victim. He is currently on the Sex Offenders Register.

Following sentencing, Gloster was later released on licence, but according to documents, he breached restrictions by contacting one of the victims the day after release. He was subsequently recalled to prison for 28 days, before being released again.

He has since breached conditions a second time, which has led to his current wanted status. It is believed he has continued moving around Birmingham and contacting people while denying wrongdoing.

A Parole Board decision summary, issued following a later review of his case, confirmed that Gloster was not considered safe for public release. The panel cited risk factors, including concerns relating to sexual interest in children and the inability of a release plan to appropriately protect the public.

• Parole Board states he may present risk of reoffending
• Document states factors including “finding children sexually attractive” and “difficulty understanding impact of his actions”
• Decision concluded release not safe for the protection of the public

Authorities are understood to be continuing efforts to locate him.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is advised to contact police via 101, or 999 in an emergency.
