📝 Case Summary:
In 2018, David Legg, of Merlin Crescent, Mayhill, Swansea, was involved in a disturbing incident. His ex-partner, desperate to escape his obsessive and violent behaviour, had moved and changed her doctor and dentist for safety. However, Legg discovered her new address, approached her at a bus stop, and later tried to climb in through a window while professing his love.
The Swansea Crown Court heard that during the incident, Legg appeared to be heavily under the influence of drugs. After failing to gain access to her home—and following a short pursuit in which he rode off on his bicycle—he was eventually apprehended. Previously, in 2016, he had already attacked her. His ongoing harassment and breaches of restraining orders led to his current conviction and an eight‐month prison sentence.
