❌ CAMERON WOOD — STEVENAGE/HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, HERTFORDSHIRE ❌
Man Given Suspended Prison Sentence for Assault, Criminal Damage and Breaching Safeguarding Restrictions
A Norfolk man has received a suspended custodial sentence alongside strict monitoring conditions after being charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH), criminal damage, and intentional strangulation.
Court correspondence confirms that Cameron was sentenced to:
• 20 months’ imprisonment, suspended for two years
• Rehabilitation Activity Requirement for five days
• A GPS tag enforcing a 200-metre exclusion zone around both victims’ addresses
• £500 compensation
• A Restraining Order lasting five years, prohibiting all contact with both victims
The court emphasised that any breach of the restraining order will be treated as a criminal offence, urging the victims to report all concerns immediately.
Safeguarding & Clare’s Law
Police have confirmed that the victims are entitled to protections under Clare’s Law (the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme), which allows individuals to request information from police if they believe they may be at risk from a current or former partner. The scheme also enables police to proactively disclose relevant information where necessary to protect potential victims.
Authorities stated that safeguarding measures remain in place and that the restraining order must be taken seriously.
