Mohammed Ali – Birmingham

A vile pervert from Birmingham has been jailed for raping a boy aged under 13 on multiple occasions and possessing hundreds of indecent photographs and videos of children.

Mohammed Ali, aged 23, was arrested after the person he abused disclosed the sexual abuse which had been going on for a number of years to us.

When police arrested Ali, from Onisbury Road, Handsworth, we discovered 443 indecent images and videos on his phone, 250 of these being category A.

At Birmingham Crown Court on 27 November, Ali pleaded guilty to eight charges of rape, four of those being the rape of a boy under 13.

He also pleaded guilty to three charges of distributing indecent images of a child.

He was handed an 18 year jail term, 12 years to be served in custody and six on license.
