Man Sentenced at Swindon Magistrates’ Court for Assault and Criminal Damage

A man has been sentenced following a hearing at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on 16 April 2025, in a case involving multiple offences of assault and criminal damage.

According to official court correspondence, Daniel Roy Rogers was convicted in connection with three separate charges. The court found that Rogers had:

1. Assaulted a person, causing actual bodily harm,

2. Committed criminal damage to property valued at under £5,000

3. Carried out an assault by beating.

Following consideration of the evidence, magistrates imposed a sentence of 12 months’ imprisonment. Rogers was additionally ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, along with a victim surcharge of £187.

As part of the sentencing, the court also issued a three-year restraining order.
