Daniel Kerr, 30, subjected his partner to a prolonged and brutal campaign of physical and sexual abuse between September 2022 and July 2023.
💥 He punched her in the head, headbutted her, put her in chokeholds, restricted her breathing, and demanded access to her phone — all while accusing her of cheating.
During one horrific attack, he grabbed her neck and forced her to have sex, ignoring her repeated protests. When she tried to escape, he pinned her down and assaulted her further.
She bravely waived her right to anonymity to warn others, stating: “There were incidents of strangulation, he gave me a black eye. He would threaten to kill himself, stalk me, threaten my friends, and isolate me.”
🚨 Kerr was arrested after police responded to a disturbance in July 2023. Harrowing photos of her injuries were shown in court. He was found guilty in January 2025 and sentenced to 8 years — 5 years in prison and a 3-year extended licence.
She is now in counselling and rebuilding her life, hoping to help others recognise abuse and speak out sooner.
