Warning Issued About Dangerous Domestic Abuser

A man previously convicted of assault and subject to a restraining order has reportedly continued to display violent and controlling behaviour towards women.

The restraining order, which has since expired, was originally imposed after an incident in which a woman was beaten, resulting in facial injuries.

Since then, further reports have emerged suggesting that the same man has assaulted another woman. He has history of domestic abuse and He is described as high-risk and dangerous, with a pattern of intimidation and manipulation used to silence victims and avoid accountability.

Witness accounts indicate that during police call-outs, the man would often falsely claim that he himself had been assaulted, knowing that this would make victims too frightened to speak out for fear of involvement from social services or other authorities.

One previous attack reportedly left a woman with a broken nose, inflicted during a trivial argument. The same source described a long-term pattern of aggression, coercion, and psychological abuse.

Members of the public, particularly women entering new relationships, are urged to make use of the Clare’s Law disclosure scheme (also known as the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme). This allows anyone to request information from police if they have concerns that a current or potential partner may have a history of abuse or violence.

If you or someone you know may be at risk, contact police on 101 or 999 in an emergency, or reach out to domestic-abuse support organisations such as Refuge, Women’s Aid, or local safeguarding services.
