❌KETIJA BILINSKA – LINCOLN❌

CONVICTED | Ketija Bilinska, 57, from Lincoln LN2 – beat her tiny dog in a pub and assaulted four onlookers who tried to stop her.

Latvian national Bilinska was at the Dog and Bone pub in Lincoln City Centre on November 8, 2024, with the unnamed Chinese crested breed dog, when she lost her temper and started hitting him. She then assaulted four people who tried to intervene.

Police attended and Bilinska was arrested and later charged.

Appearing at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court, she was convicted of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal and assault by beating.

She was sentenced to 10 weeks in prison for the assault and 8 weeks for causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.

She had already been given a suspended six month sentence for actual bodily harm (ABH) in March 2024.

As her dog attack occurred within the one-year probationary period Bilinska will now serve her previous 26 week suspended sentence concurrently with her most recent 18 week sentence – a total of 44 weeks.

She was also given a lifetime disqualification order on owning, keeping or controlling an animal. The dog was subject to a deprivation order and will be rehomed. Bilinska has also been ordered to pay compensation of £100 to the victims.
