❌AARON JONES – CANTERBURY / SURREY❌

Aaron Jones

Aaron Jones, born August 1989, originally from Surrey and previously living in Canterbury, was jailed for a catalogue of domestic violence offences and has since been released after serving a five-year prison sentence.

On 21 December 2022, at Canterbury Crown Court, Jones was convicted of multiple charges including:

  • Assault by beating
  • Threats to kill
  • Stalking causing fear of violence
  • Breach of a non-molestation order
  • Failure to surrender to bail

The court heard disturbing evidence of ongoing abuse. During the trial, it was revealed that Jones not only physically assaulted his partner but also verbally abused her disabled child, who is unable to walk or talk. In one incident, Jones threatened to “kick” the child “up and down the road like a football.”

Much of the abuse took place in the presence of the couple’s baby, with the victim enduring prolonged violence, coercion, and fear throughout the relationship.

Following his conviction, an indefinite restraining order was issued against Jones, prohibiting any form of direct or indirect contact with the victim. The order also bans him from entering certain areas connected to the victim or her child.

Breaching the restraining order carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison.

This case serves as yet another example of why safeguarding vulnerable individuals—especially children in abusive households—must remain a priority. The lifelong restraining order reflects the danger Jones poses and the court’s recognition of the sustained harm caused to the victim and her family.
