❌DAVID COOKE – NORTHAMPTON❌
Dangerous Repeat Offender with History of Violence Against Women
David Cooke, from Northampton, has a long and deeply disturbing history of violent, abusive, and criminal behaviour. He is known to have physically assaulted multiple women over the course of his life and is considered a serious danger to both women and children.
🔹 Lifetime of Violence and Offending:
Cooke has amassed 17 convictions for 23 offences, including crimes of violence, robbery, and public order breaches. His criminal record paints a picture of a man with little regard for the safety or dignity of others—especially women.
- 5 offences against a person (including assault and battery)
- 5 criminal damage charges
- 2 thefts
- 3 public order offences
- Possession of an offensive weapon (1996)
- 4 arrests for sexual offences
🔹 Vicious Assaults on Women:
- 2009: Common assault against a former partner – received a nine-month conditional discharge.
- 2012: Jailed for 23 weeks for battery of an ex-partner. The following month, he breached a restraining order and received another 20-week sentence.
- 2013: Jailed for 21 months after a violent and sustained assault on a pregnant woman. Cooke punched and kicked her in the head and stomach, put her in a headlock, and held a knife to her throat.
🔹 Robbery Conviction:
In April 2008, Cooke was convicted of robbery after attacking a learner driver and instructor alongside two accomplices. They stole a phone, sunglasses, and cigarettes, and issued violent threats to one of the victims.
🔹 Court Orders:
A restraining order was issued in August 2016, prohibiting Cooke from contacting one of his victims through any means—direct or indirect. The order allows only for child contact through court proceedings or legal representation.
🚨 WARNING:
Cooke has a longstanding pattern of escalating violence and abuse. His repeated breaches of legal boundaries and continued aggression toward women indicate a significant risk to others.
Women are urged to check Clare’s Law if they have any contact with David Cooke. His history makes it clear: he is not safe to be around.
