Coran John Paul Wohlman – Maidstone

A man from Bearsted, Maidstone, has been jailed for eight years after being found guilty of r*pe, s*xual assault and a series of violent and controlling offences against his victim.

Coran John Paul Wohlman, now 24, was found guilty of seven charges on 1 September 2026. He was sentenced at Maidstone Combined Court Centre on 27 October 2026 and placed on the s*x offenders’ register for life.

Wohlman was convicted of r*pe, s*xual assault, controlling or coercive behaviour and four offences involving assault by beating and strangulation.

His victim described physical and mental abuse, including being hit, kicked, punched, strangled and spat at.

Wohlman also threw things at the victim, during violent and explosive rages

The abuse extended into everyday life. His victim was not allowed to leave the house unless Wohlman was with her, and that he later began tracking her every movement using a phone app.

Wohlman worked in groundworks, was 21 at the time of the offences.
