Griffiths is known for dating multiple people at once — both men and women — emotionally manipulating them and borrowing large sums of money before disappearing without a trace. He preys on vulnerable individuals, gaining their trust and then completely violating it.
Several people have reported that he used charm and deception to freeload, living rent-free, emotionally abusing partners, and ghosting them when caught. He is currently on remand for car theft, facing serious criminal charges.
📰 Court Case – Car Robbery & Dangerous Driving
On Friday, 13 May 2025, Benjamin Griffiths, aged 35, of Ty Wesley in Rhos, appeared at Mold Crown Court charged with multiple offences:
- Robbing a woman of a Citroën C3 vehicle
- Dangerous driving in Wrexham (Croesnewydd Road & Ruthin Road)
- Criminal damage to another woman’s vehicle
During the hearing, Griffiths pleaded guilty to all charges. His defence requested a psychiatric evaluation, citing a history of mental illness, including schizophrenia and a suspected psychotic break at the time of the offences.
Judge Simon Mills: “This is obviously a serious case which could result in a sentence of imprisonment… The court will assess whether you pose a risk to the public.”
Griffiths is due for sentencing on 18 September 2025, with both psychiatric and pre-sentencing reports ordered.
