A paedophile has been jailed after sexually assaulting a girl who was aged under 13
Simon David Evans, 39, was found guilty at Stafford Crown Court of sexual assault of a girl under 13 and four counts of assaulting a girl under 13 by touching.
Police were alerted to the sexual attack when a family member of the survivor came forward.
On Friday, September 18, Evans was found guilty of the crimes at Stafford Crown Court and was handed a six-year extended prison sentence on Friday, September 18.
A 15-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order also issued.
